The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has made known publicly that eight business enterprises in the Clark Freeport are carrying out expansion projects with a joint amount of greater than P11.5 billion.The sum of the employment possibility of these expansion projects is 4,765. Four of the eight business enterprises are tourism-related, one is commercial-related, two are engaged in electronic production and one is industrial firm. In tourism-related expansion projects, Widus International Leisure Inc. will invest P1.5 billion to build another 5-Star hotel, casino, convention center, and water theme park. The Fontana Development Corporation will make use of P1.5 billion to heighten the attractiveness of its leisure park by constructing corporate housing and luxury villas, 1,000-room hotel and enlargement of its convention center. Stotsenberg Leisure Park and Hotel Corporation will spend P500 million to construct its administration offices, a place for storage of goods, and drivers lounge. Asialuxe Philippines Inc. will expend P200 million for the construction of different housing and tourism projects inside the Clark Freeport. For expansion of SM City Clark, Premier Central Inc. will use up P500 million. For Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) manufacturing project, Nanox Philippines Inc. will invest P150 million. For the production of touch panel glass and similar devices, SMK Electronic Philippines will make use of P100 million. Lastly, for the most expensive expansion projects, Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc. is expending P7 billion. These expansion projects signify further employment. Via GMANews.tv |
