The Northeastern Luzon Pacific Coastal Service Inc. NLPCSI, a corporation developed by the provinces of Aurora, Cagayan, Isabela and Quezon, signed an agreement with the state-owner NDC Maritime Leasing Corporation in a step to open roll-on, roll-off ro-ro services in the northeastern Luzon passageway. The NDC Maritime Leasing has given approval to supply technical support to the provincial government of Aurora in making available a ro-ro transport system that will firstly connect the Dingalan-Baler-Casiguran missionary route in Aurora. The missionary ports in Quezon, Isabela and Cagayan will later be linked to the missionary route in Aurora. The connection of these missionary ports will offer transportation capable of being worked for 24 thousand passengers and 30 thousand passengers and 30 thousand metric tons of agricultural products for shipment to different goals of journey. The ro-ro transport system is a development plan of basic importance presenting for acceptance or rejection chances not only for Aurora but also for provinces of Cagayan, Isabela and Quezon. The NLPCSI is a good model of a first step of local government units in making units in making easier growth in not well-attended communities. We hope that the roll-on, roll-off ro-ro transport system will sufficiently serve the needs of Aurora and later, the needs of other Northeastern Luzon provinces of Quezon, Isabela and Cagayan.
