The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) promotes Baler as haven for eco-tourism.

Baler is an ideal getaway for busy people with its distant and remote facility. Tourists may enjoy their vacation; they may choose a spot from its 15 resorts and surfer’s paradise. One of the new resorts is Costa Pacifica Raintree. The resort, which is scheduled to open this 2013, will give travelers the option of enjoying a bit of luxury.

Other famous spots include Sabang, Cemento Reef, Dicasalarin Point, Charlie’s Point, Dalugan Bay, various rock formations, hiking trails and waterfall destinations. Experience the nine feet high waves at surfer’s paradise. The waves are moderate and ideal for swimming from March to June surfing season is from October to February where the big waves come in. Tourists may also enjoy treks to Mount Udok and Mount Maaling-aling or they may opt to view coral-rich islands of Dimadimalangat, Aniao and Lukso-Lukso.

Baler is also an excellent historical destination.  The province has a history trail which has transpired in the Baler Church between the Spaniards at that time and the Filipinos. The Siege of Baler during which a Spanish garrison of four officers and 50 men was beset by Filipino rebels from June 27, 1898 to July 2, 1899.

Ermita Hill, also a part of history trail, a place where visitors can get a good view of Casiguran Bay, Sabang Beach and the nearby islets.  The local government of Aurora supports the projects of DOT (Department of Tourism) to guarantee these tourist destinations can be improved. They also expect collaborative actions from all the stakeholders for the country's tourism.
