A legacy museum was recently inaugurated in San Miguel, Zambales. Mango wine is served to the VIPs as they cut the ribbon during the ceremonies.
Casa San Miguel, a community-based school for the arts and a destination better known for beginner's surf and a jump-off point to the camping beach coves of Anawangin and Nagsasa.  Alfonso "Coke" Bolipata was the lord of the manor house and the violinist. He joins young scholars in a concert show playing classical Filipino music such as Molina’s "Hating Gabi," Velez’s "Sa Kabukiran" and that favorite of choirs, "Sana’y Wala ng Wakas" by Willie Cruz. The world heritage is also featured in the show which highlights Tubbataha Reef in Palawan, baroque churches in Ilocos and Iloilo, Banaue Rice Terraces and Puerto Princesa Underground River.

Tourists will enjoy their stay at the casa because they can join folk-dancing in a calm night. Buffet table dinner is served with various Filipino dishes to choose from such as sugpo, lechon, kangkong, adobong pusit, crispy pata, ensaladang talong, pako (salad), inihaw na isda, mango bibingka with chocolate dip, and others. They will also be astonished by the talents of young performer Jazel Kristin. A mini library can be seen in the casa where the work of art of Shakespeare, Dostoyevsky and Jane Austen are being displayed. [via lifestyle.inquirer.net]
