AFAB (Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan) in Mariveles had supported relief donation drives for flood victims, medical missions and environmental campaigns. The Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) Running Team in the 25K CEO River Warrior Run was led by Chairman Deogracias Custodio.

Business executives should take part to this project which serves as an environment advocacy. This was formed thru the partnership of Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) in Mariveles town and network giant ABS-CBN’s KBPIP or Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig (KBPIP. The advocacy aims for a fund-raising campaign that will help to clear the streams going to Manila Bay. This includes the rehabilitation of the Ilog Pasig passages such as 15K Ride & Roll for cyclists and skateboarders. This will bring positive development to Pasig River. The seven-foot flood that happened in Bataan last August was caused by the floodwater which could not flow in Manila Bay because of congested waterways.

About 1,000 participants are expected to attend this activity which will happen in Commonwealth, Quezon City. The event will feature 15K Ride & Roll for cyclists and skateboarders. [via pia.gov.ph]
