The Iba-Tarlac road is now prepared for construction. This road network that would liberate Zambales from separation from the remainder of Central Luzon begins from the Olongapo-Bugallon road in Botolan, a town located south of Iba, and links at the foot of Baracbac bridge in Capas, a town located southwest of the city of Tarlac.More than half of the road's total length of 89 kilometers is in Zambales, while less than half is in the province of Tarlac. Php696 million is the total amount required for the full accomplishment of the road, while php774 million is required for the completion of the construction of 6 concrete bridges that have a total length of 2.5 kilometers. The full accomplishment of Iba-Tarlac road will diminish journey time to one hour and contribute to the economic growth of Zambales as well as the province of Tarlac. When one moves toward Subic as well as Clark from the north, the Iba-Tarlac road will serve as secondary course of travel. The road will in addition serve as link of Zambales to Pampanga, Nueva Ecija and Aurora.
