HHIC-Tech, A New Firm In Subic

Two years ago, the Hangin Heavy Industries and Construction Co. has placed the Philippines on shipbuilding map during the time that it started the $1-billion shipyard project in Subic Bay Freeport.

Last year, the South Korean company made know publicly extra sums of money worth $684 million to provide for prices for different ship orders that it has receive from shipping companies throughout the world.

At the present time, the shipbuilder HHIC is investing one more in addition $11.9 million for a research and development business organization that has been called HHIC-Tech Inc.

HHIC-tech will make use of 196 technical workers to furnish with specified information the  requirement of Hanjin’s naval architectural projects in information technology.

It will be one more advantage for Subic maritime industry for the reason that local workers will be being exposed to the most recent industry’s current preferences.

The Subic shipyard at the  present time has not yet  decided orders for 40 units of freight vessels. The first two orders of which are put for crude oil tankers that shall be placed in position to Europe-Middle East courses of travel.

HHIC-Tech, a research and  development business organization, is a great help for it decreases the unemployment when it employs technical workers to be needed in its operation .
