Livelihood For Marginalized Sectors

In line with six-point agenda codenamed HEALTH that includes services in the field of health, education, agriculture, livelihood, trade and environmental protection and human resource development, the project of Aurora Governor Bellaflor Angara-Castillo for the handicapped, native peoples, women and out-of-school will promptly appear above the horizon in the capital town of Baler. The project is a P5.9 million. Japanese government-funded skills training center, which will be called the People’s Empowerment and Advancement center for the side of the doctor Juan C. Angara Sports Complex in Barangay Suklayin. It was funded for the greatest part by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the provincial government.

Senator Edgardo Angara, Representative Juan Edgardo Angara and Mayor Arthur Angara were development partners in the construction of the center that will supply the wants of the sectors situated at the lower margin.

The handicapped, indigenous peoples, women and out-of-school youth in the province of Aurora will be given power to make them able to use of employment chances for advancement by means of skills and capacity development to be taught by skills training center. Unemployed people must be trained to get employed.
