The Clark Development Corporation declared that more than ten thousand new jobs were produced at the Clark Special Economic Zone, and increased employment figures from 36,883 in 2005 to an all time high of 47,481 in 2006.SM City provided jobs to 455 new regular employees. Cyber City Teleservices Inc., also provided jobs to greater than 6000 workers. Sutherland Global Services provided jobs to 666 new workers after just a few months of operations. Itellirisk management Corporation provided jobs 192 workers after its opening last September. Electronic firms also had a share to the increased number of jobs in CSEZ with 865 new hires last year. The present number of workers in Clark now surpasses the twenty-two thousand workers in the facility during the time that it was yet a U.S. air base. The garment firms have 13,807 workers. Electric companies have 6,952 workers. Information technology firms have 5,511 workers. Service companies have 5,419 workers. Factories have 4,596, and tourism firms have 4,475. The establishments of economic zones in not so many cities and municipalities cause the migration of many people to those places producing people congestion and traffic jam. It is advisable to establish economic zones in all cities and municipalities to disperse equally the various firms and consequently, reduce the migration of many workers in going to a smaller number of economic zones.
