To expand the former Nabasan Wharf beach into a hotel and resort, businessman Antonio Tony Boy Cojuangco signed a contract for the P300-million project of fresh investments.After the contract signing Administrator Armand Arreza of SBMA said that with this, The Nabasan area will be one of the next top destinations inside Subic free port. The Nabasan area is one of the most well-liked destinations in free port. It is also a favourite site of scuba divers wanting to discover marine life and underwater wrecks in Subic. In addition to this, SBMA deputy administrator Stefani Saño said that Cojuangco had expressed interest to take over the rehabilitation of the Subic golf course, including the construction of a five-star hotel and luxury villas.
At present, Hanafil Golf and Tour, Inc., the operator and developer of the 18-hole Subic golf course, is discussing the final terms and conditions for Mr. Cojuangco to take over the golf course.
