Premier Pilot School to Open in Subic

To make the Subic Bay International Airport (SBIA) expand its thrust in providing aviation services, Omni Aviation Corporation, a premier pilot school, will open inside the Freeport.From its home-base at the Clark Freeport in Pampanga, Omni Aviation Corporation expanded into Subic and renovated Hangar 8128, which was used by US Navy war planes until 1992.
Omni chairman and chief executive Captain Ben Hur Gomez said that the expansion in Subic facility is part of their company's vision to turn into a premier pilot school and fixed-base operator in the Southeast Asian region. And to start its operation in the Freeport, the company invested P33M that will be used for instruction room, flight demonstration room, administration office, and conference room. Six aircrafts, including four for the flying school and two for chartering services, will be dedicated for the Subic operation. Omni Aviation Corporation chosen Subic as the extension facility fir its natural environment that will possibly essential to students fro them to be inspired while studying.
