It is the 37th shopping mall in the country and the first mall in Tarlac.SM Prime Holdings, Inc., the Philippines' leading mall developer built the new shopping mall. SM Prime president Hans T. Sy, said that the four level mall has a gross floor area (GFA) of 103,340 square meters (sq.m) and occupies 34,385 sq.m of land. He added that the new mall excitedly foresees many customers from the Tarlac and from other places in Central and Northern Luzon. Customers will experience the first-rate, integrated shopping, dining, and entertainment experience. The leasable area of SM City Tarlac is 39,219 sqm, from which, 70 percent has already been rented by their tenants like SM Supermarket, SM Department Store, Ace Hardware, SM Appliance, and Watsons. Other tenants were Jollibee, Savory Chicken, KFC, Goldilocks, Starbucks, Bench, Penshoppe, Guess, Crocs, Sanuk, and All Flip Flops Shops. [via mb.com.ph]
