With the week-long “Lakbay Norte” (Travel North), there are now more grounds to visit and revive the beauty of Northern Luzon.Lakbay Norte is tour which took a team of local media and bloggers to nine different places covering nearly 1,800 kilometers. The tour includes the visit in Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, La Union, Baguio City, Pangasinan, Subic Bay, Tarlac, Pampanga and Clark Free Port Zone and other part of Northern Luzon to promote economic development through tourism. According to Renie Ticzon, NPVB president and Manila North Tollways Corporation vice-president for marketing, North Luzon is becoming competitive with the construction of North Luzon Expressway that serves as its gateway. The said Lakbay Norte serves as adventure tourism since it provides different exciting and thrilling activities for the travellers in different destinations.
