To determine the preparedness of Bataan in the advancement in position of information and communication technology (ICT) and direct the province in putting in order the mentioned industry for immediate use, the development and promotion of information and communication technology (ICT) as a priority industrial sector in Bataan will be undertaken throughout the duration of a provincial ICT stakeholders consultation-workshop scheduled on January 24 and February 1 at Crown Royale Hotel in the City of Balanga.The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in agreement with the Office of Bataan Governor, will serve as leader of the consultation-workshop. Those who have been requested the presence at the activity are delegates from the academe, ICT companies, infrastructure, real estate, telecommunication, government and private sectors. In the middle of the subjects of conversation to be talked over fully and openly are the following: Overview of the Information and Communication Technology Industry in the Philippines and Central Luzon, an Potentials of Bataan to Become an information and communication technology Hub. Hub means center of activity. Affairs and points of controversy confronting the ICT industry in the province will in like manner be taken up throughout the duration of the said consultation-workshop. It is hoped that later in time than the careful and clever planning meetings, Bataan’s ICT development roadmap would eventually be determined.
