Foreign Investors to Assist in Aurora Development

To prove that Aurora could be the next investors' haven in the country, Senator Edgardo J. Angara met Taiwan investors and presented a promising initiative with a province teeming with abundant natural resources enabled by a special economic zone status.

The son of Baler said that Aurora is a perfect place for investment both for its perfect location but also for its agricultural-fisheries development.

With its rich natural resources, infrastructure projects are on going that would help in uplifting the economy.

These infrastructures, coupled with tax incentives and transportation and telecommunications facilities provided under the Aurora Special Economic Zone, will establish Aurora as the gateway to the Pacific - unlocking the resource-rich and fertile areas of Southern Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya and Aurora.

At present, various investments are being set up in Aurora like, Coconut Fiber Processing Plant, and a Pineapple Processing Facility that would provide gainful employment to Aurorans. [via senate.gov.ph]
