300-Km Road to Be Completed In December

In the 131st birth anniversary of President Manuel Luis Quezon, who hails from Baler, President Arroyo said on her speech that the more than 300 kilometer billion-peso road project which will connect Aurora via Nueva Ecija leading to Tarlac and the rest of Central Luzon will be completed in December this year.The quadricentennial celebration was highlighted with the unveiling of historical marker "Bayan ng Baler" which was strategically erected in front of the town plaza. Mrs. Arroyo was joined by Senator Angara, Rep. Angara, Governor Bellaflor Angara-Castillo, Baler Mayor, Arthur Angara, National Historical Institute chair Lamberto Ocampo and other local officials.
