Export Program for MSMEs in Pampanga

In city of San Fernando, 27 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) recently enrolled in the government's Export Pathways Program (EPP) and signified their commitment to participate in all activities and development assistance identified for their respective enterprises. This was developed by the Department Of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Pampanga.

According to DTI Regional Director Blesilda Lantayona, EPP aims to develop new MSME exporters at the same time sustain the existing ones, enhance their market access eventually increase the region’s export performance.

In addition, DTI Provincial Caretaker for Pampanga, Leonila T. Baluyut, said that the program seeks to create an environment conducive to exports growth and development in the region and improve the sector's competitiveness.

The strategies that will be utilized in this program are:

  1. Export enterprise development
  2. Export market development
  3. Export environment development
