SBMA (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority) top official said that the agency's jobs-generation programs have lowered the unemployment rate in Central Luzon. The unemployment rate decreased from 11.5% in '07 to 9.4% in July this year. Central Luzon unemployment figures went down from 14.1% in ’07 to 9.2% in July.One of the projects made is the job matching which facilitate regional dialogue to address unemployment, promote skills matching and industrial peace in the region.
