Bataan Nuclear Power Plant, now a tourist destination

The Region III office of the Department of Tourism announced recently that the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) will now be open for tourists visiting Bataan. The nuclear plant will be uncluded in the tour package which also includes historical sites and beach resorts in Bataan.

Iba ang tamis ng mangga ng Zambales!, Senator Francis said during the opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the Zambales Mango Festival happened at the Provincial Capitol Plaza. Sen. Pangilinan delightfully added that he may encourage her two daughters, Frankie and Miel to serve as endorsers of the fruit in Zambales. Our children are fond of mangoes. Everywhere we go they ask for mangoes. Even if we are abroad they still ask for mango juice, the Senator said.

 
Women's Group in Nueva Ecija Organizes Training on Water Lily Weaving

To help other families to have an extra income, a group called "Ladies of Nueva Ecija," organized and conducted three-day training on water lily weaving, which was conducted at the old capitol compound last week.

Ladies of Nueva Ecija is an organization known for producing good quality of bags, slippers and trays from water lilies, which are usually accessible in the province.

The tourism office of Mabalacat and the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC revived the 26th US Cavalry, Philippine Scouts. The Cavalry area is the same in the mount police of New York City, Royal Canadian Rangers, and the Buckingham Palace Guards in London. The establishment of the area as a strategic command outpost of the US military in the Asia Pacific soon became the largest military installation outside continental America.
