Bacterial Diseases

PhilRice (Philippine Rice Research Institute) has issued a warning against bacterial diseases which attack rice farms as a result of non-stop rains.

One of theses diseases is the bacterial Leaf Streak (BLS). It is less invasive and popular than Bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB) but it is more prevalent when it rains non-stop.

 
Olongapo City NHS Bags International Awards

Six entries from Olongapo City National High School emerged winners in the recently-concluded Classroom and Excellence Awards given out by the Singapore-based Asia Europe Foundation an online website contest that confirmed the world-class capabilities of public school students.

DepEd Secretary Jesli Lapus lauded Olongapo City NHS and its principal, Dr. Helen Aggabao for the 3 entries recognized under the Classroom Awards and another 3 under the Excellence Awards.

 
SMEDC in Pampanga Stripped Programs

To ensure economic growth in the province, Small and medium Enterprises Development Council (SMEDC) of Pampanga bares banner program. One of these is the establishment of Kabiayan Center and conduct of capacity activities among enterprises.

Gov. Panlilio of Pampanga challenged the member of the council top come out with plans for the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He said that small acts when put together would redound to big accomplishments.

 
Health Services Firm Sign an Agreement

Berthaphil and Ardi Health Services, Inc. signed a sub-lease agreement for the establishment of a medical park that will house hi-tech facilities that prioritizes CDC (Clark Development Corporation) and Clark Employees.

The services will focus on Ambulatory Care Services that boast of four Centers-dialysis, general services, dental and eye care.

 
Participative Management for Clark

Participative management is the strategy of the newly-appointed Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President Benigno W. Ricafort to effectively manage the Freeport. This will enjoin full cooperation and support of all Clark stakeholders noting that this will be his trademark for the Clark Freeport.

To achieve the success of his strategy, he said that he will promote the principle of networking among CDC employees and officials to create a greater community image for the Clark Freeport.
