With the different programs related to streamlining program in the issuance of mayor's permit in the region, the local government of Olongapo City regarded as the best BOSS (Business One-Stop Shop) in Central Luzon. Neal Perez, Olongapo City division head of business permit and licensing division, accepted the award for the city in a simple ceremony held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. According to Mayor James Gordon, Jr. of Olongapo City, they are really giving much effort to guarantee that they are providing a client-friendly system and procedures to satisfy their clients since they make the registration process more efficient and convenient for businesses in the city. |

During the 2009 convention held in Bangkok, Thailand, the Philippine Bonsai Society, Inc. (PBSI) hosted the prestigious Asian Bonsai Friendship Federation Exhibition and Convention (ABFF) in 2012. All members of different nations voted in the said event. Asian Bonsai Friendship Federation Exhibition and Convention (ABFF) is the first bonsai club in the Philippines. It was accredited by International Bonsai Organization. Asia-Pacific Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibition and Convention (ASPAC), Asian Bonsai Friendship Federation, and the Philippine Bonsai Society, Inc. will lead the country in establishing bonsai global map. The 5 day event will exhibit 500 trees which will happen at Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. The Philippine Bonsai Society, Inc. (PBSI) has been recognized by international bonsai judges and won pride for our country in various foreign competitions. Its goal is to bring bonsai art to greater technical perfection and artistic expression. |
