The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in the province of Nueva Ecija is helping its people in promoting their own products such as fresh and processed mushrooms, sisig and tempura.

This November, Clark Freeport will be showcasing the annual trade fair of the unique products and scenic locations of Ilocos region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and the Cordilleras.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 3 declared that this 2nd North Philippines (NorthPhil) Tourism and Travel Expo will be held from November 11 to 13 at the SM City Clark event center. There will be exhibit area of different provinces like Aurora, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Tarlac. Also, various booths of tourism-related businesses such as hotels, resorts, and airlines will be featured. The booths of Clark Development Corporation, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, DOT Regional Offices 1,2,3 and CAR are also included in the plan.

Partnerships with giant establishments are crucial to the long-term growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), a ranking Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) official said.

DTI Nueva Ecija provincial director Brigida Pili cited as example the collaboration between Aliaga vegetable noodle manufacturers and the NE Group of Companies.

The city government here has formally opened its satellite office to provide faster and efficient services to Angeleños.
According to Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan, "the satellite office will be of great help to the two big villages of the city namely Barangay Balibago and Malabanias, and the mall spent around P2 million to accommodate us."

He added that "our objective is to expedite the delivery of services to the residents of Angeles and make it less expensive and more convenient."
