A computer-based system called Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) is now installed in Bataan General Hospital (BGH). This brought a good result to district hospitals in Bataan.

The flood problem in Pampanga and Bulacan will now be resolved thru the big Candaba Swamp crossing the 2 provinces. This will serve as a as a "nautical highway" connecting Nueva Ecija-Bulacan in the east to Pampanga-Bataan in the west. This will also served as a long term solution to the floodings.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 3 declared that this 2nd North Philippines (NorthPhil) Tourism and Travel Expo will be held from November 11 to 13 at the SM City Clark event center. There will be exhibit area of different provinces like Aurora, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Tarlac. Also, various booths of tourism-related businesses such as hotels, resorts, and airlines will be featured. The booths of Clark Development Corporation, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, DOT Regional Offices 1,2,3 and CAR are also included in the plan.
