Fiestas are regularly described by smiling faces, but the dwellers of Paombong, Bulacan may deform or twist their faces into an unusual appearance as they observe in some special way the first Sukang Paombong Festival.

The activities for the celebration include mukhasim vinegar-tasting contest, suka and tuba cooking contest, pagtutuba demonstrations, exhibits and street-dancing competitions.

DHL Express reveals intention to bring into existence third gateway, a passage into or out of a place. DHL Express is thinking over carefully the state of being possible of preparing Subic-Clark-Bataan triangle in Central Luzon.

The Philippines largest toll way will be completed as scheduled in November 2007 in spite of 6.7 percent delay because of typhoon, withdrawal of some subcontractors of the two major Japanese contractors and right of the way acquisition problems especially in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

The Php21 billion, 93.7 kilometer Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) is one of mega projects aimed to change completely Central and Northern Luzon into a super region. The groundbreaking for the process of building of the four-lane wide project was held on April 4, 2005 under Bases Conversion and Development Authority’s major policy.

The opening of the P152 million Friendship Bridge in Barangay Anonas in Angeles City in Pampanga was celebrated by President Macapagal Arroyo.

The plan was named Friendship Bridge for the reason that different government administrative divisions labored jointly to accomplish the plan fully. These different government, bases Conversion and Development Authority, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Public Works and Highways and the Office of the President.
