Dragon Boat Race In Mexico, Pampanga

The Men's Invitational, the Women's Invitational and the Elite are the 3 crew competition divisions that will be the main attractions of the Second Manila Dragons Cup 2008. This event will begin the Philippine dragon boat race season in the ten-hectare man-made large inland body of water of the Lakeshore inMexico, Pampanga on February 24.

Fifteen regional information and communications technology centers of activity will participate in the Department of Trade and Industry's annual e-Services Global Sourcing and Exhibition as a course of action to move up in position these regional centers as possible locations for offshore outsourcing services.

The 15 regional centers are located in Poro Point in San Fernando, Dagupan, Urdaneta, Subic-Olongapo, Clark in Angeles City, Balanga in Bataan, Cainta, Santa Rosa, Batangas City, Legaspi, Tacloban, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and Davao.

 
Pampanga's 2008 Budget Not Enough

The Pampanga provincial administration has guaranteed that its 2008 budget will be competent to direct the attention of its different concerns, particularly causing to be concentrated on the area of social services.

Coming before in importance is a budget for Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Budget for BJMP vehicles and detainees uniforms and food subsistence allowance is also granted. There is an increased budget for Public Health Program so that to make stronger preventive health care and curative health care. More funds are given to make better the skills and give courage to rural health and day care center workers to work better.

 
Iba-Tarlac Road

The Iba-Tarlac road is now prepared for construction. This road network that would liberate Zambales from separation from the remainder of Central Luzon begins from the Olongapo-Bugallon road in Botolan, a town located south of Iba, and links at the foot of Baracbac bridge in Capas, a town located southwest of the city of Tarlac.

 
Park For Milkfish And Sea Bass

A mariculture part with an area of 3 square kilometers in Aurora’s northern town of Casiguran is now available for commercial production of milk fish and export of sea bass.

Investors are now being received with approval by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). This project was suggested by  Senator former agriculture secretary Edgardo Angara and has been approved by the Casiguran government by means of a resolution stating portion of Casiguran Bay a mariculture park.

Ibon-Ebon Festival In Candaba Swamp

Nearly seventeen thousand birds were sighted in the twenty four hour census in Candaba, Pampanga. This number was not only a record for Candaba but for the whole Philippines. Another record not only for Candaba but for the whole Philippines was the Eurasian Spoonbill with a scientific name of Platalea Leucorodia has been seen in Candaba Swamp for the first time.

Teletech To Open Site In Pampanga

Teletech has begun recruiting agents for its Pampanga operations for this call center operator will open its facility within the SM mall San Fernando in April 2008.

Greater than fifteen thousand workers in ten places throughout the Philippines has been employed by Teletech. It means an avergae of more than 1500 workers per place. Teletech's facility in San Fernando  is aiming to recruit 1700 workers. It is slightly greater than an average.

In line with six-point agenda codenamed HEALTH that includes services in the field of health, education, agriculture, livelihood, trade and environmental protection and human resource development, the project of Aurora Governor Bellaflor Angara-Castillo for the handicapped, native peoples, women and out-of-school will promptly appear above the horizon in the capital town of Baler. The project is a P5.9 million. Japanese government-funded skills training center, which will be called the People’s Empowerment and Advancement center for the side of the doctor Juan C. Angara Sports Complex in Barangay Suklayin.
