168 Mall: An endeavor of Mabalacat, Pampanga

The three-story 168 mall will be erected in a 2,000-hectare lot at Barangay Mabiga, Mabalacat, Pampanga. The new retail store will be an addition to the shopping hub of our Cabalens. Mayor Marino Morales said that the viability of the project is thru the P500-million loan from the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP). The new establishment expects merchants from the North and Central parts of Luzon. Buyers and sellers from the different parts of Luzon may access the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) when going to 168 mall.

More than 2,000 Jobs at SBMA Ayala Mall

The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) announced that they have signed up an agreement for the accreditation of more than 400 local and international firms. Companies will be permitted to conduct their business at their chosen commercial area thru one-day, one-stop business processing. The 400 companies will be located at Ayala Land’s extensive Harbor Point complex which is undergoing final development at the central business district in this free port.

Sutherland in San Rafael, Bulacan

San Rafael, Bulacan is the now one of the towns which fascinated more than P500 million in investments in the province. Its municipality had collaborated with Sutherland Corporation for a two-day job fair which happened last Dec. 27 to 28, 2011. The entity will hire 2,000 workers next year.

Passport processing: more convenient in Ayala-owned malls

Last Dec. 16, a mall owned by Ayala Company hosted the Department of Foreign Affairs' passport office in Angeles City in Pampanga. The signing of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement had also happened. MarQuee mall assisted the government agency thru a satellite office that was transferred in the said mall.

Trees surrounding Angat’s water shed is now being protected against illegal loggers. According to Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado, there are Army soldiers being deployed in the area to guard its forest in illegal logging operations.
