Professionalizing Teaching

Professionalization is sometimes viewed as either the service of teaching or a ruse to win teachers over into striving for and achieving state purposes. Professional teachers have academic qualifications and also act on ethical moments based on explicit or implicit code of conduct. The practice of teachers is based on a special knowledge aspect rooted in the idea that successful professional practices rests upon special professional knowledge much of it experimentally gained and often held tacitly. It becomes then the task of professional education somehow to unpack this knowledge or find ways of passing it on those entering the profession. It is the task of professional educators to clarify the substance and structure of this knowledge base and to transmit it to newcomers in the field.

The said Freeport will be renovated to look like Sentosa, a prevalent family-oriented resort in Singapore. This is a joint venture of SBMA and Olongapo City government.

 
Village in Aurora: Home of Southeast Asian Artists

Recently, an artists' village was inaugurated by the national artists for literature Sionil Jose and Virgilio Almario and national artist for visual arts Benedicto Cabrera. This village was located in the province of Aurora which will be used as a temporary home of the local and international artists of Southeast Asia.

 
5-minute travel from Plaridel to NLEX

A new road project in Plaridel was funded thru Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). About P680 million budget was given to the municipality of Plaridel. A traveler may cross other towns such as Balagtas, Guiguinto, Plaridel and Pulilan. The 10-kilometer lane from Plaridel, Bulacan to North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) will be opened this March.

This initiative will provide additional resources to help farmers improve their rice planting procedures.
