Baler, Aurora is now the most-searched items in Google. The province is known as the fastest rising local travel destination in the Philippines in 2009. According to local officials, Baler got the first rank in the list of local travel destinations. The list also included the Amana Resort in Pandi, Bulacan, Acuatico Beach Resort in San Juan, Batangas, Coron Palawan, Anawangin Cove in San Antonio Zambales, El Nido in Palawan, and 8 Waves Resort and Eco Park in San Rafael, Bulacan. |

A South Korean business company is putting out $300 million in order to gain a financial return to the sugarcane-fed bioethanol plant to be constructed in Clark. The bioethanol plant is arranged to be put into service in 2012 and will have a power generation component capable of providing 40 megawatts to itself and other consumers in the Clark economic zone. |

In collaboration with the Tarlac Provincial Government, Department of Education will conduct its annual national scholastic sports competition from April 11 to 17. The said competition, known as Palarong Pambansa, is now on its fifty third year. More than 6,000 student athletes from elementary and secondary schools nationwide are expected to troop to Tarlac province in April for the 53rd edition of the Palarong Pambansa. |
